These are a few of the more useful WordPress plugins I discovered while putting this blog together. I’m planning a more comprehensive post on this later.
Editorial calendar plugin – “An editorial calendar is the foundation of strategic blogging; it lets you do the planning that it takes to get the most audience reach from your blog content.”
WordPress SEO by Yoast – “WordPress SEO is the most complete WordPress SEO plugin that exists today for WordPress.org users. It incorporates everything from a snippet preview and page analysis functionality that helps you optimize your pages content, images titles, meta descriptions and more to XML sitemaps, and loads of optimization options in between.”
Upcoming posts plugin – Creates a widget that displays scheduled posts or drafts with excerpt and more information.
Jetpack by WordPress.com – Jetpack enables you to connect your blog to a WordPress.com account to use the powerful features normally only available to WordPress.com users.
Instapress – Customisable Instagram plugin for WordPress.
Project Argo: Argo Links – The Argo links plugin makes it easy to collect links from across the Web and share them right from your WordPress dashboard.
This link roundup itself was made with with Argo Links.
